Thread: Recommended Push Rod Length?

Any ideas on what I'll need for push rods with this set-up?
Gen V BBC 454, standard deck with factory GM heads (casting #14097088). Using a Crane retro-fit hydraulic roller cam (CRN-139731).
I've gotten a few differing lengths from the various tech lines and was hoping to get a consensus from the guys who really know.
3/8", .080 wall thickness... just looking for the proper lengths to insure my geometry is OK. Thanks.

Just buy the standard hydraulic roller push rod set and check them. Rarely are they in serious need of a lenght change.

Thanks, Info. That's kinda what I was hoping to hear. If they're way off, then I guess I'll need to adjust, but the standard GM's seemed to work just fine. I'm just looking to upgrade with a thicker wall, etc.

I just upgraded mine with some manleys and they measured 8.600 and 7.650 and then i checked them on the valve and they were perfect.
