I'm taking the Commander in for some upgrades. The boat wanders all over the place. I believe its a combination of my VERY tight steering system, and the fact I have no scags near the intake. Actually, there are no scags anywhere under the boat.
So, I've decided to get rack and pinion steering installed, and two scags installed on either side of the intake grate.

Ever think of going with the calgo steering? It's expensive but the best steering I've felt in a boat. Check out rexmar.com they have them.
