if i had to guess, id say that tractor weighs in about 2000#s. my Kabota 7800 weighs about 1700#s without scaper and my rear tires are twice as wide. i really dont think that trailer was over weighted.

you're pretty close, the tractor weighs 2900, it's got
24" wheels, the trailer is 7000lb gross
it weighed in at 5800lbs loaded
the lug nuts came loose and sheared off
the lugs and the tire came off
