What brand is it, the website should have instructions? I just put an Autometer in a boat for a customer, and there was a sticker right on the tach that had the settings listed.
its a beede tach ive looked on their web site and all over the tack for anything that might help
After looking through the installation instructions on the Beede site, it look like you have a diesel tach. They have 4/6/8 switch tachs listed, all the others have 10 dipswitch settings for alternator tachs (diesel) and flywheel counts.
