Damn, I wish I would have caught this sooner... already made plans for the day.... You guys have a good time out there.. R.B.
Sleekcrafter, it was great meeting you guys, looking forward to next year. Wish I brought my camera, you guys have some great looking boats. My son and I were laughing on the way home, we were talking about the ride you gave to the gal. Greg? and I were talking quietly when we heard you spooling yours up, then above the roar, hearing her scream, the boy and I about lost it! Saw a great looking black jet with about four people in it when we were heading out. Keep in touch. Mark
Like Wise R/C-PILOT, you could not beat the weather.....it was beautiful! Your Tahiti is a GEM super nice! I tried to get some pictures on Saturday but my camera was in another boat riding around:jawdrop: I did manage to get a couple, mostly singles as everyone was running around on the river. We launched at 10am on Sunday too, met up with, Brubaker's Wreidt, Fast Eddies Sabre, TX-19's Condor and his cousin Don's Mantra. The Black Tahiti running up river, was Denny's ride, he got a late start on Saturday.

Hey Mark, Craig said you work for Stern's? Does Chris Lockhart still own it? if so Tell him hey, From Lenny's kid (from the Airport circa late 70's) His Cessna Skymaster is painted up in Mercruiser colors
Condor Tx-19 sorry no pics of the Mantra rescue certainly worthy of one though
Oh yeah, Chris has retired, but still close by. Helen (Stirn) is still in the business. Chris and Helen do the motor home thing now days and Chris still has the Skymaster. What type of association do you have at the airport? Both my brothers worked for Lumanair during the 70's. Bob,Mike and Ma.
My pop's had the aircraft Radio shop there on the field, from 73 to 84 or so. He bought Philco Avionics, then changed name to Aurora Avionics in 79, and relocated to the Lumanaire facility. Worked there thru high school.
