I agree DD.
I can't wait to leave. I am very jealous of you.
I don't think I'd go to Idaho, too far from parker.
I like arizona
why I am happy to have left California life in the rearview mirror....
1. No long lines at DMV...in fact, no lines!!!
2. No waiting at the launch ramp on a weekend to get on the myriad of beautiful lakes, and rivers here.
3. No EPA/CARB/Noise pollution regs...in fact, I chucked my header baffles at the Cali border.
4. It cost me $68 to register my 2003 4x4 Chevy Crew cab....and that was including the $25 fee for firefighter plates.
5. You are actually able to drive the freeways at any given time, AND do the speed limit!!!
6. Grocery prices are half as much as they were in SoCal.
7. ALL of my insurance premiums dropped by almost half.
8. Gas prices today for 87 octane? $1.67
9. Excellent weather...and zero smog.
10. Oh, did I mention no launch fees at lakes, and no illegal immigrants/poor white trash coming down to change their kid, and leave the shitty diaper floating only to be later sucked up by my jet.
In case you missed the hidden meaning here, it is simple.....
CALIFORNIA CAN SUCK MY ASS!!!!

Ya I`m stuck for now I was in NY. Nothing like Idaho but it was fun and I never used my truck there. I can`t stand LA but Too many Mormons in Idaho.
You don't mean it now...
I'm 4th Generation Californian and I can't imagine any other place I'd rather call home...Except Teluride or Cortalaine (sp?) or Phoneix, or...
Well, you know what I mean...
And your probably getting the same pay or close to it
Glad to hear things sound good.
Cor De Lane ( I think) It is French for this beautifal lake in Idaho!
I will only live here, having lived in (ready):
Missouri
Texas
Minnesota
It snowed 3 ft in "April in Minnesota and I was outa there!!!
Coeur d'Alene
We had a get together up there last year. Here's a link to some of the pics LBBA in Idaho (http://www.laidbackboaters.com/id94.htm)
My mother in law just moved to Twin Falls last year and she loves it. It just might be a place for us to move....not sure about being so close to the MIL though
how big is that lake?
Don't worry, Boise does get smog. Just as bad as LA but, it is only in the early winter. Comes from all the wood heat used there. It will just remind you why you left LA.
The best thing about Boise is how clean the city is.
cruzer.
I love the area where I live here in Northern California, but the state is a wreck. If I could get my wife to move out of here, I would in a heartbeat. But then there is that darn work thing... gotta find something that pays fairly good money... You don't have to make a mint like you do in California because taxes, real estate, gas etc is cheaper, but to maintain your lifestyle, you still need to make like 2/3 of what you would make in California...hard to do in places like Idaho.
