First time at Castaic

Today was my first day at Castaic Lake and I had a blast. The lifeguard was very helpful at the launch ramp and it wasn't too crowded. We skied until it got windy around 11 and then hung out at one of the beaches. I wasn't there that long, anyone know any good coves to go and picnic?

I don't know about a picnic, but if you leave the main launch ramp and turn right, go all the way to the end back in the canyon is where everybody hangs out. It's nicknamed Copper Castaic. There arent any good beaches at Castaic so everybody just ties up together and parties.

Just remember is an alcohol free lake, so bring the can holders.
