I'm sure it work fine but there's reason why there automotive wire and welding wire, do you know what the difference are. I would find that out first before using it.

I'm well aware of the differences. For example, welding cable is easily available in 00 gauge.
... and has that fabulous black rubber jacket that's tough as nails.
