Where's kidstuff?
I bet "Koby Jr." would know...lol.
I am wondering how much HP and TQ it will take to get a open bow 26 Daytona to go over 100mph?
Post the setup you know of that will reach the triple digits. It can be a 25 or 27ft also.
Thanks!

Kidstuff may know! I don't know who Koby JR is.
I would like to get numbers from actual real world setups. And boats that actually went over 100mph, not the ones that think they could (if you know what I mean)
Good point.
I hear all those Eliminator people give "embellished numbers" to begin with. Better stick to "real world".
Ya ! They learned that from the DCB guys

I thought it was the other way around.....
:argue:
7-750hp will get you to 100, maybe 104. If you go 800-850 that will get you 105-110 real world. No I don't know what x-demension, what outdrive gear, what prop or what direction the winds need to be. I just know what HP it takes.
If you guys hear anything from that kidstuff let me know I think she went Brandie on my last e-mail.......

OK! OK! OK! OK!
I think we are getting off track. :rollside:
I don't want this thread to end up 10 pages long and a bunch of DCB guys with hurt feelings
Back to the original question, Anyone????

2 300 hp blenders oughta do it!

Andy, How much TQ? I am considering biulding a Blown SBC like the ones in my old 28 Daytona and wondered if I could get to the triple digits with that setup. Here is the Dyno sheet.
