I found out progressive is stock.
I was thinking that the soft would be better for long run's.
Any ideas on how this will work???
I'm picking up a used 1050 Marine Holley that has a 1:1 Secondary linkage.
Should I put a progressive linkage or soft progressive back in ?
It's just a river boat not a race boat.

I'd test the two progressives out. Obviously.....for cruising, I'd only want to be using the primaries as on a normal DP Holley. Even the progressive on a Dominator carb I would consider the secondaries coming in too early. You'll be using alot more fuel. It'll be more an on/off switch and not very controllable. Give it a try though......maybe you'll like it?!
Thanks for the reply Mike.. I guess thats what I'm going to do. I'm not familiar
with a 1050 and was hoping for some insighte on how thay work. I will start with the soft linkage first and see how it go's
do you want to sell the one to one stuff? I would be interested in it...
I will let you know.
