Camped at Tulloch once about 15 years ago. Took a quick boat ride before breakfast and figured we would check out the rest of the lake after breakfast.
Turns out that was the rest of the lake.
To may nice lakes in that area. Don Pedro, Mclure, And Melones. If you go to Melones take a cruise up the river as far as it's safe. It gets real pretty with grannit cliffs and nice scenery.

A field car is a car you drive at a ranch with high clearance when we were in school we called them crop dusters.
