this thing is gonna be cool
how long till I get to drive it??
The pin will be possibly be on the sides of the sponson. Running down under the rub rail. My only hold up is the boat will be capped, so I don't know of the ones on the side will look good.
The boat will be gelled in grey. The pewter and green (bright flourecent green) will al be in vinyl so easy to remove if it look bad or gets tired.
As I said the vinyl aspect is the way to go and can easily be reworked. The green down the side in my opinion will look out of place. So is this a full cap?Or half cap?

I know it will John's a friend...and a good dude, although there has been some mutual ball-busting on this board lately
PS, I'm still in on that bet--remember shortly after sun-up the ducks wake up

Here is a little blurb I found on the the website......
"102MPH with a stock 2.5 280, this thing is crazy fast"

same #'s that everybody is reporting with 300XS's...as I would expect. Realistically the 280 was about the hardest running "stock" outboard that I ever remember--revved to the moon and was light. The boat is gonna be bitchin'...I was the first one to call him after I saw one in person and say GO FOR IT DUDE! They are gonna have a BLAST with that little boat...
John, just remember to be CAREFUL
