ok im in a delima. I cant decide between a 1999 baja sidewinder with a 5.7Lengine or a 2002 outlaw 20 with a 5.0L. looks as thoughboth will run about the same top end speed. I happen to like the looks of the outlaw in the water but like the looks of the sidewinders interior and cockpit. Anyone have any suggestions as to which would be better.
thanks

What kind of money are you looking to spend? I ask only to see if a nice used custom boat is out there for the same dough...

I don't know a lot about Baja but it looks as though those two boats are designed for two different uses. If you're a skier/water toy/lots of people kind of guy, it looks like the Sidewinder is the more favorable design. The Outlaw looks to have less interior room, long bow, etc. that make it more of a cool cruiser.
It's all about need.
Welcome to ***boat.

yeah the long bow is why i liked the look of the OL better. I wish they would have added the interior of the sidewinder to the Ol when they made it. I love the sidewinder controls and cockpit.
anyways thanks for the help.

Baja build a nice ,safe dependable boat....I have one... :p
They sound about equal in performance ....and the build quality will be the same.....from an automotive standpoint ...I have always like the 5.7 better..and I like big blocks for boats even better than that....
For they're intended purpose either will serve you well.. just pick the one you dig the most... :p
