I just want some opinions on this. My new and untested gel coat has 5 cracks in varying in size and thickness from 3 inches to now 23 inches in length . With all of the grinding, filling and re-geling that will have to be done, and my gel coater away on leave until December, I am thinking about just cutting the deck out and making the never ending project a bow rider. I have full length stringers which are near bullet proof with a brand new floor and I am getting pretty good with my fiberglassing and gel coating. I feel very comfortable tackling this project and with as much deck as this boat has, my seating would increase by 3-4 people. I do plan on adding structural support to the bow/hull up front , but have been told that this hull is already bullet proof. Let the opinions begin

I've had my open bow for quite awhile. If you have a bunch of people up front, it gets alittle tough to see:eek: And where will all the ladies strutt thier stuff

Well, I think that I do want to do it, but one of my big concerns are the transitions involved. The deck is not your average every day deck, it is actually a step up, or actually a double step up, this is one of the things that make my boat so unique looking. The pics will show my dilemma

I don't know bowtie, how much room will you really have up there?? It seems like your cabin is already sort of pushed forward, unless I'm seeing it wrong?
Do you have any profile pictures?
Would you make it a walkthrough (slice through the dash) or a crawl under/over?
