Yeah...they are not happy.
Especially since the race organizers laid out the course not to suit Lance. A time trial up Alp d'Huez? Trying to take the Postal Team out of the equation, eh? Nice.
Basso is giving him a run for his money in the hills. That guy's gonna be a future winner with some time-trialing practice...

HH-
Your right about the race organizers trying to change the course, but it looks like it will backfire on them.
Lance will wear the yellow until Sunday when he makes all Americans proud !

Yep.
Also...all those flat stages before the hills? Gimme a break...they wanted a Frenchman in yellow as long as possible. They knew Postal would sit back so they didn't have to defend early.
All that matters is who is in yellow at the end.

Tomorrows time trial is one of the toughest ever. It is over 3000 ft of climbing over 15 miles. It is nearly straight up. Watch Lance own it like he owns the tour. The only thing that worries me is any dumb fu-- from france can jump out and end his tour at any moment if they want.

Actually tomorrows stage it is 15 K so the climb is 9.6 miles with 3300 ft of climbing. This will be one of the most grueling events in sports. The tour is one of the toughest events in the world, but this stage a day after hard climbing is crazy.:eek!:

I could be wrong but I was listening to the race on OLN and I thought I heard them say that the entire 9.6 miles will be "roped" off to prevent people from coming up to the riders. It will be on at 6:00 AM tomorrow.

i hate the media..all they report are negative stories. Im watching right now on espn people saying Lance uses drugs and has used them since his first year win. Its basically a big conspiracy theory with race officials and ex team mates in on it and bs. What A Joke!

I loved the commercial he did a while back where he was saying something along the lines of:
"People ask me what I'm on. I tell them I'm on my bike for 6 hours a day, what are you on?"
Sorry if I screwed up the quote but that's the idea of it.

Why is the winning jersey YELLOW?
Did France design the colors after the quality of their NATIONAL COURAGE?

Lance is the shit there is no question. It French can run but they can't hide!
And speaking of American. Here is FRONJ on some classic American iron at this years Sea Otter jump contest.

Lance is nails...he is pretty much a machine....to take the two critical mountain stages by winning sprints at the end....he could win without taking the stage, but to take the stage by winning a sprint at the end pretty much sends the message to your Comp that you own them.....He is a machine ....as strong in his heart and head as his legs..
