Does any one have any input on a boat shop formerly in Havasu? It was called Clarcks Perormance Marine. Any input on how they were to work with would be greatly appreciated. thanks

RD, Keith Sayre told me that he thought he saw Jim with a big flatbed hauling a mold out of town a few months back, maybe he repo'd em.

I'd love to see Jim back in the biz.. He built one hell of a boat!

If my memory serves me correct the original engine in the 27 Ultra that Hot Boat was building was built by Clark. Didn't they have it taken somewhere else to have it redone?

I think Wilkes Marine redid the engine in that boat.

clark tried to build a 540 for a friend of mine.
motor broke first time out, clark blamed it on oil pump.
several more thousands of dollars later, engine number 2 was complete and ready for water test.
motor # 2 broke second time out, clark said it was a faulty connection
on the oil pressure guage, and that the motor really DID have oil pressure.
we decided to rebuild the motor, and when dis-assembling, we found
a collection of mis-matched parts throughout.
don't know what he, or one of his workers was thinking when they built the motor.
