its a pretty nice place. its a got a little store and a restaurant. it has gas docks and docks you can rent. most people just anchor out in front. if you have an rv you can get a spot right on the water which is nice to have. its worth a try IMO.

I thought it was a decent place, but they were kind of strict. Also, if you're pulling a trailer or boat, the drive sucks since you can't cross the dam.

Like the Soup Nazi. A friend parked his empty boat trailer in the wrong place. They moved it and chained it up, Cost $50 to get it back.
Just got back. It's not a bad place on the river we go there a couple of times a year. The on the water sites are cramped together and cost about $40 a night. We usually rent a park modek trailer and pull the boat out every night.

We love it there....go for a week every year. We've never had any problems....we bring our golf cart, our bar and our kids and they haven't kicked us out yet :D. We get an RV spot right on the water and it's great!! :)

Half an hour or so, I think it's about 15 to 20 miles on the water.
