We are now 6 weeks out and it should be done mid September.
I am getting very excited. We have decided to put in a pool and I am putting 2 ceiling fans and a swamp cooler in the garage. I am also running speaker wire throughout the house.

That site is too cool! I can't believe they do that for you. Some friends of mine are having a house built across from Needles and they have to go out every two weeks to take pictures of it for their scrap book. Your builder seems to have some innovative ideas. Congrats on the house :D

Congrats! I have a place in Sunridge and currently I am looking for a home with a pool to purchase in the same area. Hard to find one with all the particualrs I am looking for but still trying :).
The pool will be very nice for those days you just don't want to mess with the boat.....

Charley, they are good people. And yes, the idea of putting pictures on the net is a fabulous idea. They did end up with some internet award for doing this.
Yeah, the houses they build look real good to us. This is something I have always wanted to do since my old man built one in Havasu in 1987. But, since Havasu has gone a little too loco for me, I decided to go a little north. Hey, if I happen to not want to go on the water one day...there are always the casinos. :)

how much less expensive is bullhead than havasu??? is it set up the same way in that you purchase a lot and then go find a contractor to do build your house??

Well Skye, I don't know the price of property in Havasu, but it HAS to be more there. My property is 14,000 sq. ft.. I paid 43K for it in September 2003.
I am currently building a 2,190 sq. ft. home with a pool (30 ft. long and 6 ft, deep at the end, it will be fiberglass due to the heat), 7 ceiling fans, speaker wiring throughout the house, a swamp cooler, and a 7 ft. long shower in the master for 212K.
So, the grand total will be about 255K.

No, it is close to McCormick Dr. near Davis Dam.

That area looks just like ours. Just wondering because of all the houses going up in our area.
