Let me begin by saying I love this board and I'm thankful it's free but. . .
the smilies suck!
They are the lamest and most boring smilies out of all the forums I have visited (including the offroading ones). Many are duplicated (wasteful) and most are unused. I just find it hard to believe that a board as big as this one has such little variety to offer in this area. Even RD's baby forum has a smokin' selection. No offense Dave, I love your forum, just making a point.
Anyone disagree?

There are soooooooooooo many to choose from, like the smilie in my sig line! :)

Here is an example of my complaint:
Let's try the flying pig emoticons (both of them). . . :pig_flyi: :pigfly:
That wasn't what I wanted
"Boxed" and "sqsmile" are different? :sqsmile: :boxed:
They look the same to me
And what about "idea" and "idea2" ? :idea: :idea2:
"jawdrop" and "eek" and "eek!" ? :jawdrop: :eek: :eek!:
and why do we have to open a new window to see them all?

Here are some more duplicates, it seems like almost half could be nixed and get the same choices.
traditional semicolon and parenthectical mark ;) and "wink" :wink:
"smilespi" :smilespi: and smile_sp" :)
"frown" :frown: and colon (not your large intestine) and parenthetical mark :(
Did I prove my point? Would it help if Deb and I offered in our collections so that HB has some to choose from?

Can you tell me why the switch with each post? Not complaining, just curious? I must know everything, like exactly how the reputation points work..... :wink:
