can it be done?

i have a wolf, a goat, and a head of cabbage that i need to get to the other side of the river. i can only take one in the boat at a time, and cant have the goat eat the cabbage, or the wolf eat the goat if left alone. how do i get all three to the other side?

if i had kids, what the hell would i be doing trying to get a goat a wolf and a head of caggabe across the river for? i was hoping i can trade them in when i get to the city. though i was offered a handfull of magic beans for em. hummm? :idea:

ok, nobody got it. there is only 4 cats in the room. imagine a small room were in each corner each cat can sit on the next cats tail. all 4 cats are facing the corner so there are 3 cats behind each cat. if the wolf comes in there will be no more cats.
