I voted Lake Mead because it is soooooooooo uncrowded!
on second thought, you could spend years boating on Lake Powell and not find all the little canyons.....................
And Lake Havasu has the sandbar and Topock Gorge.................
And Lake Mohave has Willow Beach............
can I change my answer to all of the above?
:cool:

Havasu=too crowded
Mohave is OK
Mead is cool... but be careful of the wind!
Powell is pretty remote which is nice for relaxing, it gets my vote!

Just how big is Shaver anyway. I remember going to summer camp there as a kid and it didn't seem that big, but that was a long time ago...

True, 1100 miles of waterways... I guess that could count for a lake or two.. :D

I have never been to lake powell,I do most of my boating on Havasu because of the convenience of staying at Havasu springs,but I think I enjoy Lake mohave the most, because it seems so desolate in some places and easy to stay away from the crowds.
