We know he sold off much of his foreign investments just before running for President, did he also sell his french mansions? I think he had three of them.

I seriously doubt that he sold anything of hers, but they probably hid it in a blind trust or shifted title to a child or someone else to avoid the issue.

Here are the US ones:
Boston: A five-story, 12-room Beacon Hill townhouse that serves as Kerry's main residence. Assessed value: $6.9 million.
Nantucket, Mass.: A three-story, five-bedroom waterfront retreat on Brant Point. Assessed value: $9.18 million.
Washington, D.C.: A 23-room townhouse in Georgetown. Proposed 2005 assessment: $4.7 million.
Ketchum, Idaho: A ski getaway converted from a reassembled barn near Sun Valley. Assessed value: $4.916 million. Heinz Kerry owns two adjoining lots valued at $1.5 million and $1.8 million.
Fox Chapel, Pa.: A nine-room colonial on nearly 90 acres in suburban Pittsburgh. The property also includes a nine-room, carriage house. Assessed value: $3.7 million.
;) At least he knows how the middle income normal American lives. Yeah right.

Kinda like that Suburban that, uh, his "family" owns?
Background: April, Candidate Kerry in Detroit, proudly tells UAW members about all the American cars he owns, including a Suburban. He conveniently neglected to mention his wife's Audi.
A week or so earlier, on Earth Day, Kerry spouts off about the need for smaller cars that get better mileage. A reporter asks if he owns a Suburban. Kerry sez no. The reporter presses him, says there is a Suburban at their house in Jackson Hole.
Kerry hems and haws, says, "No, I don't have it, my family owns it".
What a tool.

Sen. John Kerry sold his foreign mansion in Italy just weeks before he announced a run for the White House in Janurary of 2003, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Actor George Clooney purchased the stunning 18th century mansion located in the Italian village of Laglio [50 miles north of Milan] from Kerry and his wife for $7,800,000. Clooney first learned about the listing from Brad Pitt, who had been holidaying with his wife Jennifer Aniston at Versace's compound nearby.
While Kerry and his wife's homes in the United States are worth at least $23,733,705, it is not clear if the candidate currently owns property overseas.
The campaign has repeatedly denied requests for any information on foreign assets held by Kerry

It sounds like Kerry has taken a page out of Clinton's play book. All the vehicles in my family are registered in my name but you can bet if my wife was asked, she'd say they're hers too.........including the boat.

I was at the mall and when walking in saw a John Kerry supporter trying to get people to vote for Kerry. On the way out I walked by to see if the guy would talk to me he did. He said are you registerd to vote, I said yes, he said would you vote for kerry, I said I'm a white male with a job why the hell would I vote for Kerry. His jaw just about hit the ground.

William McKinley? Kerry can't be all that weathy since he had less of a tax burden than I did last year. It must be all of those deductions from all of those houses he owns.

Don't ya mean HER houses? How many Presidents have made it to office and have had nothing? Aren't you barking up the wrong tree here? Kerry's holdings, not including Mrs Heinz/Kerry's are not much different than Bushes are they? How many presidents that you know of reflect Middle America? I think Clinton did, remember he was raised by his single mother and didn't have much growing up unlike Bush or Kerry.
I do find it interesting that so many people like Bush, a failed businessman. I didn't like that fact in 2000 when it was brought up and though he was governor of Texas that really didn't make him qualified to run our country in my book; what did he do for Texas? Could you look back at him and say wow this guy is really great, he is a very astute businessman and an incredible politician? I can say that about very few politicians and GW isn't one of them, is Kerry??? I don't know enough about his life as a politician or if he was ever in business but I bet we find out more soon.

The reason you (like most people) don't know much about Kerry's political life is because his campaign is going to great lengths to hide it. Think about it, when was the last time a legislator ran for executive office without bragging about his great track record as a legislator? These guys don't even want to bring up the subject, because they know that when it comes to his senate record, there just isn't any lipstick pretty enough to put on that pig. So they are spending all their time talking about 30 years ago and on how he will do what Bush does, but better, with more international support, and with more help to the middle class bla bla bla bla. Nothing but vague epmty platudes that voters can take to mean what ever it is they wan't to hear. So far, his is the most vague empty campaign I have ever seen.
P.S. I don't know if he still ownes property in France (because I really don't care one way or the other if he does) but last I heard his mother still lives there.

In a time of WAR, some are voting for one of the most vocal peace activist in our Countries history. We will not only go the way of the French but, also the way of the Spanish. To show weakless at a time like this would be a nail in America's coffin. IMHO

That's funny!
I hate to say it though, I would not necessarily pick the guy with the best coordination; keep him in sports and out of places where a great mind is needed. I am not saying that great minds and coordination don’t go together but in most cases aren't the most brilliant minds less coordinated than those who are the best athletes?
Kerry does look like a duffas though doesn’t he?

But Kerry says, he would "use the lessons of war he learned fighting in a war".
Now of course, I can't possibly know what that means. However, based on how he applied those lessons upon his return from Vietnam, it brings to mind an interesting thought. Can the U.S. pull out of New York? ;)

Kerry has the edge in size. Bush wins on speed, coordination, and CV endurance.
Bush seems to be better at making quick snap decisions. Kerry often seems to have trouble making up his mind.
If I were their coach Bush would be my Quarterback and Kerry would play offensive gaurd. But who knows, if Kerry has a good leg he might make an ok punter.
Here is a thought that might bother some of us non socialists. In U.S. elections most of the time the taller candidate wins. Neither of these guys is short, but Kerry is about 3 1/2 inches taller than Bush... ;)

As the Commander-in-Chief, one could argue that Bush has more war-time experience than Kerry's eighteen months (only four in combat) and all of Bush's recent experience has been in a command position. :D

I don't think Kerry himself has any of those places, he signed a prenup. His wife's fortune is like 700 million, compared to 60 odd million for the Bushes. My understanding was that Kerry was $180,000 in the red when he married Theresa.
As a couple they will be the richest people ever to win the presidency if it happens.......
That war record of his is getting shot to shit every day on the radio, those swift boat veterans are really making him look like a chicken shit fool.
