hi yall had a great 8 days vacation up north at lake alminor at Grandparents inlaws 5,000sq ft lake house on the water with some of the fam.. also went through reno to see there new full time residence at Montreau where they just had the reno tahoe open i guess!! posting some pics of this one...almost 7,000 sq ft home....while some there being built at 20,000 sq ft...not the lot...the houses!! unreal time, drank way to much...ill let the pics tell it all....untill the dam run II next weekend which i cant wait for take care !!!Frenchie..
After driving almost 9 hour to reno NV we had to stop by MrsFrenchies Grandparent s brand new full time residence at Montreau...

finally after 4 stops and over 13 hours of towing we arrive at the Peninsular private homes entrance for the rest of our party to pull up!!!

there were a total of 9 of us on this trip all family and guess who was the only one to get up on the wakeboard and actually tear it up??? yes the MRs Frenchie...although we only had a board for one day and found out she has done it many times bfore...i think it was the baot driver though!!!!

and the last day all dressed ready on our cleaned boat to go party at Plumeth pines and begin drinking the jungle juice!!

oh i almost forgot...first time on the water at night till about 12 a.m. ...it was great boat lit up well and we all saw to many shooting stars not to mention those satellites!!

actually it was mid 90's every day, and thursday hit 100 for the first ime all summer..night was comfy...notice all wearing sweatshirts on the baot at night except me...the babies didnt like the cold wind on the dull throttle to getout to the middle of the lake!! :cry:
also boat ran well but like everyone said we lost some top speed i got it on the gps at 66.7 with four of us in the boat on the first day and it would not go above about 4800 rpm maybee 4900!!! no the usual 5150 rpm but still plenty fast!! :supp:

We have a cabin on the water on Lake Almanor also! All those pics looks so familiar. Glad you could get up north to see the beauty we boat in :D
Plumas Pines is the best bar on the water up there......did you get into town at all?

Nice going Frenchie! Thanks alot for sharing! It looks awesome up there.
Next time though, forget about work for a while. Work is why we get to buy these toys, take these trips, and have this fun. It should not weigh on your mind so heavily. ;)

Chester is a cool town, but the lake is a much better place to spend your time ;)

Beautiful place Frenchy, looks alot like Lake Arrowhead before the drought drained the lake and the bark beetles killed all the trees. Did I spot a few trees that were begining to die up there too?
Looks like it was a fun weekend.

Almanor is a cool place. Water gets a little rough in the afternoon and you have to watch for deer at night. Especially if your traveling to Susanville at night. Lake level is about 4500', very pretty in the winter. There are also lots of Hollywood celebs with homes there.

true on the tire thing...knowing a little about tires :cool: ....i made sure they were all up to 50psi before we left an after...no messin around...ill be chekin my p.m.'s!! :)
