ECOST (http://www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail.asp?dpno=138622)
Try this place. I have dealt with them a lot. Good group!

I though Circuit City had them for about a grand.

Ditto on Ecost, I've used them before and would recommed as well. I also tend to use CNET to find prices on electronics, they will give you the lowest price from a number of stores, be sure to factor in shipping and handling into the price, a lot of the low price providers will make up the difference in s/h:

Thet 10 D is still a $1300 camera without a lens.
That $650 deal is a "bait and switch" and is also a grey market item.
If you go to Onecall.com, they are an authorized Canon re-seller and usually have the best price.

BTW, are you a serious camera hobbyist? The 10D and the Digital Rebel have the identical internals......sensor, etc... That would be more than enough if you were just looking for a high resolution deal..

If you can hold off a couple of months, you might pick up a sweet deal on a 10D as the 20D is almost here. The 20D has already been reviewed by a couple of sites.
The 10 D is a fabulous camera, by the way. :)

Get the actual model # and type it into any search engine and you should get a list of companies with the lowest price. I bought a Canon camcorder like that and it was a good experience. Got it for $150 less than Circuit City and Best Buy. A lot of companies selling them usually have a rating system from previous buyers kinda like ebay showing how pleased they were with there purchase. Good luck.

These are good resources.
But, they list many non-manufacturer authorized resellers. These resellers sell grey market items with no 1 year U.S. warranty.

That's a nice camera Gramps, but at your advanced age, shouldn't you go for something a little smaller and lighter. You're older than crap after all... :D :D :D
