use the newsgroups. They have almost anything you want for free. A lot of people post mp3's and also .shn files if you want lossless compression.

Good answer. Like he said newsgroups work. There is also a couple other alternatives. One is peer-to-peer software like Limewire or Kazza. You usually can find anything you are looking for with in 5 minutes or so, unless it's a song that isn't that mainstream. Your other choice is a program call StationRipper. This program allows you to rip music from Internet radio stations directly to an MP3 file.
I personally use the peer-to-peer method and have not had any problems with it yet.

I have been looking for some bands and cant find shit in the stores or on line.
