in Florida..............amazing pics on the news.
Don't want to come off as selfish, but too bad there wasn't an aqueduct that could put that 20-25 inches of rain into Powell and Mead. They're goona get destroyed by water.
This storm could cost 40 Billion and that doesn't even count ti 20 Billion for Charley 3 weeks ago.
A prayer for the Floridians form here. :frown:

Ivan looks like the track projection is slightly lower than Frances so far possible going south or into the D republic / Cuba area. Might put it into the gulf but whoo knows. Seems no 2 act alike.
Kind of like boats in that regard.
Yeah it would be nice if all that water could be captured for Lake Powell. :frown: Prolly would fill er up and then some.

If that track holds up looks like Florida could get it again bout next Sun-Mon :(
Hopefully it will go elsewhere or weaken.

I'm in Tampa, waiting for the full brunt of Frances. We've had 50 mph or so winds for hours now. &#^@ hurricane hasn't turned into a tropical storm as predicted now that it is over land -- the sustained wind is still 90mph. Oh well, time for a Coors Lite now. :D At least our power is still on -- over 4M in Florida are without power right now.
