Got my first I got at 9 years of age. It was a 1974 ford f-100 longbed. According to the dmv I paid $10 for it but I really got it for free from my second grandfather. Built the small block with my father. I still own the truck. It is in the garage and is in the stages of prostreet. Good luck with whatever you get!! :D

Indian Sun sign on my shoulder.
Cat woman on the forearm. (wife "Kathy" = "Kat", get it?)
Lizard on my back. (It's a Doors thing)
Still in excellent shape. I only used the best artists.
Looking to get an upper arm tribal band one of these days. Got a few designs on paper, just trying to decide which one.
All original art. I don't go for stock flash.

1982 Ford F-100 step side. 4.9 inline 6 with Offy intake Holly 4bbl and headers. Ran strong most would not believe it was a 6 other than the sound. Had super high rear end gears and a 3 speed. I got good at changing Autozone clutches at 16. I still think about that motor and wish I would have put a cam in it. I would still have the truck had I done that.

I'm too old for that though. Maybe I'll get some tatts.
A full size back sun dial might work. :2purples:
j/k. :D maybe a tribal spin will do.

1960 VW Baja with 2180 & 48IDA's.. WWHHHOOO HHOOOO
1956 bug 1835 on 48IDA's... Can you say REALLY big valves, ported heads, Strip/street cam, 10.5 lb flywheel, Close ratio, cradled, 4 puck, 2700lb, yada yada yada :D ran 4.86 and 4.37, but in the end I loved the 3.88 and the fwy speeds :D
First time I drove it I beat my mother's 760turbo(stick) wagon on the way to VW Paradise to make sure I did everything alright, being my first engine build and all.. Found out I crossed a pair of spark plug wires. They looked it over and corrected a few things for free before turning it over to the young punk(me) with a few instructions. It was really fast after that. Kicked my mom's car's a$$ from stoplight to stoplight on our way home. got 13.5 at Carlsbad and couldn't run it there again without proper saftey equiptment.... Roll cage,etc...
After fiddling with it for years, I got sick of the hastle and went with a mild 1835 with a single Dellorto 40.
I wrecked it and the Kid I sold it to got a hell of a parts car for 700.00 :D

1967 Pontiac GTO..I actually bought it a year before I got my license and spent that time building the motor. It was a 400cui bore over .30, comp cam, forged pistons, etc. etc. Around 450hp to the wheels, but the torque on these poncho motors are insane! I would take money from the seniors as a sophmore racing their 396 elco's and malibu's;) I'm 21 now and still got it, it was my daily driver until about a year and a half ago when I started doing the paint and body;)

1968 Camaro RS w/sport trim and hideaway headlights. 327 corvette motor w/ extremely large Clay Smith solid lifter cam, Victor Jr., 750 Holley and pro-comp headers. Dual 3 inch exhaust through Flowmasters, Art Carr Turbo 400, 3500 stall 12 inch converter and 12-Bolt posi with 4:56 gears. Black w/rally wheels. Not very practical as a daily driver, and didn't like to idle below 900RPM, but it was an attention getter nonetheless.

68 VW Bug with a Crown conversion 140 hp flat six Corvair. Transaxles were about $70 at the wrecking yard back in 1974 and I went thru about 1 every 4-6 months. Yes, I flipped the ring gear.....cause once I didn't and I had 4 speeds in reverse. Wheelies are fun in a street car!

In 1980...a 69 Camaro with a 350 and Muncie 4-Speed. I did all of the body work and paint prep myself. I miss that car.
BTW, Centerlines with fake knock-offs were cool in the 80's...along with Hang Ten clothes, Izod, Lightning Bolt necklaces, and slip-on Vans.

my first car was a '70 CJ-7, I had it for 6 months until my '97 Wrangler came in. I had one of the first one's in Houston. The CJ was a piece of crap, but we recently traded it to get another jet-ski, so I guess that worked out nicely. I miss the Wrangler though, that's what I consder my 1st car.

1968 Volkswagen bug that I wrecked the third week I owned it! About 4 months and 3k later it was a Baja Bug with an 1835 Bernie Bergman motor, Weber 44 carb, Jackman rims, stinger exhaust, new rag top, new stereo, new fiberglass buckets with tuck and roll upholstery, and primer grey.....for the next 4 years! :D

My first car was a Torch Red 1968 Mustang Fastback, shaved with Shelby suspension and American Racing Torque Thrust D wheels. Power came from a 351W, shifted through a toploader 4-speed and Hurst shifter. It had a roll bar and harnesses and I thought I was speed racer driving that thing around... usually with the headers uncorked. It actually made it onto the cover of Hot Rod in 1995... I sold it a few years later to but a new truck so I could tow my boat. I miss the car, and thanks to that stupid Nick Cage movie the price of '67/68 Fastbacks has gotten so out of control I can't buy another one. Oh well...
