Needles is OK but lookout for those stupid loud "flat bottom" types........Those dern V Drive guys are known to congregate at NMP.
I hate those damn boats, wakin me up at 5:30 with the zoomies, and burning methanol.

We have a house about a mile north of the bridge. There is a rock bar a few houses up that provides lots of entertainment on big weekends. Lots of people won't come up our way because of it (although there is a perfectly safe way past it) so it makes it nice. Our neighbors even put a big sign up on thier dock saying thr rock bar was there, but no one pays attention. It's a nice place to boat for smaller boaters. Except for in front of Needles Marina park and Jack Smith, unless it is early in the morning.

Hey I've been there. Thought the place was pretty cool. Even Camp Acceptance was great.

I don't get to Needles much anymore. I loved it there though. My inlaws had a great place right next to Jack Smith Park.
Check this pic out. I took it from our patio, while BBQ'ing and having some beer. I laughed the whole time. This poor guy thought he'd launch in about 6 inches of water. Literally 6 inches.
Yes, there IS a trailor still hooked to that boat.

He sunk his trailer to the axles the had to disonnect his tow vehicle. He kinda "tandem" pulled the stuck trailer out with another truck hooked to his.
