I've got an 800 watt Kenwood amp that was powering the subs in my boat. It got some water on it and now it doesn't work. Can somebody recommend someone to repair the amp or who I should take it too. For the time being I put in a cheaper amp but it doesn't sound as good as the Kenwood did. Thanks for the help.

Depending on the extent of the water damage, you could be plagued with many trips to the repair guy in the future. Don't buy a cheap amp and pay for a repair; Just buy a new amp and call it a day. Water damaged electronics can sometimes be a pain in the ass...

Kind of like the lazy guy that would only go to one store for a good bottle of Vodka. :p If you could drop it off and pay for it that would be great. It's kind of your fault anyway. If I'm going to hang around the Saturday night disco party I need to get my tunes bumping.
Roz - Thanks for the advice.

It will probablly cost you more to fix it then it will be to replace it. Plus you can never completely get rid of water damage.

Well, maybe I'll just pull it back home during the winter and have you redo the whole thing. I'm thinking another battery, a couple remotes, maybe add a couple speakers, run all the wiring like a DCB and call it done. :shift:
Wadda ya think?
