I went on a booze cruise down in Newport Beach..Did alittle skim boarding and BBQ some Carne Asada..with some Dos Equis... :)

coolest thing,,,went to San Diego and tourd the USS MIDWAY aircraft carrier. what an awsome experience. It was Mr. and I's 2yr anniversary so we went to Diego and they had it open for tour, got to tour the bunks, bathrooms, wepons control room, navigation room, flight deck, and so forth. What an experience for me and mr. Can't wait to go back and do that again. ;)

I got up early Sunday and hit the sand toy show...
Did a little bar hopping with HBJet.
Then we got a call from a fellow Hot Boat who was by himself and stranded in Barstow with a very bad wheel bearing on huis boat trailer. So we took wheel bearing and hub (since the lost his hub on the 15 several miles south of Barstow ;) ) off HBJet's boat trailer....and made the 120mile drive out there at 9pm last night to deliver the parts and help with the install. Turns out the spindals were not the same, and bearings we brought didn't fit. We left our fellow hot boater tucked into a nice hotel with enough tools and supplies to finish the job today, when the parts stores begin to open up. Got home a little after 2am and :sleeping:
I just wish we could have gotten the guy back on the road, but you win some and you loose some.... :boxingguy at least we tried. Several board members helped in some way on this project, including, but not limited to SHOCKWAVE TOM, and Disco_Charger. Thanks Guys!!!

I stopped in Barstow and checked a few of the hotels to see if I could find Mike but did not see him/his boat. it was colder than a mo fo out there last night. I think summer is just about over.

Thanks a lot Tom!!! He's all taken care of now. I spoke with him at 9:30 this morning, and it was getting finished up. I talked to Waterndog who saw him passing through Needles on the 40 earlier today. So it's all good now.

I moved about 10,000 pounds of assorted jeep parts, tooling. machinery,
welders, and misc crap to put my boat back in the garage for the winter.
that was friday.
on saturday, I had to clean out the "other" part of my junk pile (about another 10k worth of tools, jeep junk, and misc crap) to be able to put
lawn equipment away, the bobcat and little tractor, and alot of crap is
now going to scrap, the dump and recylcling..........
needless to say, I was a bit tired sunday at work........

Saturday coached a soccer game worked around the house then drive to Knoxville for a Gin Blossoms concert - That was cool.

Spent most of Sunday grinding the floor on the boat....again. This job really sucks! I've resigned myself to only doing it when it's raining, so as to stay cool. It's about done tho...only one more 4-6 hour session!!!
