OP6C VIII - Map and Location....

Sandy Beaches South of Katherine's Landing.
You will exit the flat wake area of Katherine's and continue straight until you are in the main channel of the lake.
Turn Left, South, or to Port, which ever you prefer, towards Davis Dam & Laughlin.
Continue for about 1 mile, or until the lake openes up on the Left hand, or Port side.
Start turning to the Left, East or to Port, which ever you prefer. As you come around the turn, sandy beaches will come into view ahead and to your left or Port side.
Look for my boat http://www.op6c.com/images/avatars/rtjs_ava2.jpg and several others along the beach. Provided you're looking after about 7:30-8:00am. ;)
This is a beach location. EZ-Ups, beach chairs, sand toys, games (I'll have volley ball, and a couple of people are bringing horseshoes), and whatever else that's relatively safe and legal you can think of for a beach party will be welcome. :D
Reverse offshore anchoring will not be a problem for those like me who choose not to run their boats up on the sand. Though there might be a drop-off requiring a short swim if you get offshore too far. Standard stuff, nothing strange.

I thought the map and directions would read more like this.....
Swim 200 breast strokes out of the no wake zone and turn left.
Go 10,000 brest strokes toward the dam till you see the Talking Trout.
Vear to the Left for 6,969 more breast strokes or 3,484.5 back strokes if your breasts are too tired. Look for the RTJ mobile :wink:
