Some how I knew this was going to happen. I have a MBNA card and happen to get this one with a no interest rate for 6 mos promotion 3 years ago. After 6 mos was up it went to 12% wich was okay. Today I got a letter stating that they will be switching the rates to variable rates starting Oct 23 and will adjust according to the prime ( and right now it aint going down ). These Muther F'ers are just as bad a the Mafia takin yo $.
Any ways wanted to throw that out there for ya PEEP'S

Don't think MBNA is the only cc issuer that uses this tactic. They are all thieving bastards. Bait and switch. Oldest game in town.

Mine was a fixed rate years ago...sent them a letter back turning down the "offer" and told them someone was going to get their ass kicked if they tried anything...
Effers send me checks all the time to use, but reading the fine print, my rates go up if I use them...sneaky bastards. :burningm:
