LMAO!!! Yes, as a matter of fact, we're all suppose to hop in SYA's VW Bus and go to "Plya's Cave of Moonshine". We haven't figured out what to do after that because we all get drunk and pass out! Seems to have worked in the past! :skull:

With your position in Beaumont I nominate you our official key holder to the city! You have the absolute most important job in the whole town. Keep up the great work. :p

Second, RK "Pussy Control" should hold the acrylic key to the city, she needs to open and close alot of doors to keep the Pussy in Control...

Probally something to do with that asteroid that passed or is passing the earth so close.. It's supposed to be the closest in history (written history).
 They say it will come to within 1 million miles of the earth. Could have some effect

Not many people are taking it seriously. Even officals. All the observation places are open up the valley leading to Mt. St Hellens. The closest is 5 miles away. Experts are saying it will through some rocks and debris into the air, not like last time where it blew the top off.

Is there steam coming out of that thing? I wonder if that's normal for that volcano?

Wow. I thought that thing was dormant.....
Anybody ever see the reminants of the Volcano that sits in between Ludlow and Newberry Springs, where the black rocks are is where the lava flowed down to? I forget the year it happened..definitely not in my lifetime though

This is the view from my place. Mount Baker is about 80 miles distance around the right corner of the pic .Have my camera ready the get first hand pictures for you guys when it blows :mix: . Hope the rocks would fall to the east :D .We've seen some steam coming out under a perfect blue sky and no report what so ever . I've been inside the Vesuvius in Italy back in 1970 ,and the rocks were warm and steam coming out the crevasses . The volcano is now closed to the public .I'll dig up some inside the crater pictures to post later  http://www3.telus.net/spectrasonly/sunrise2.jpg

I heard that thing was supposed to blow. It's not surprising, Dormant just means inactive at that time, nature is always subject to change. If they think it could do something this weekend, people ought heed the warning. but there have been so many things lately that we have been warned about, we have probably become somewhat hardend to any warning given now a days. :frown:

Yes, you see it a lot more in the winter, when snow is on the ground. I think it's allways let off some steam.

are you serious? I mean really, ask her to get pics, that would be awsome. I have ashes from the last time it went up. That would be neat to show my son being that he is studying volcanos in school right now. :)

According to CNN's website. Mt Saint Helens is blowing smoke and ash right now. This can be a precursor to an erruption or it could just be letting off steam.
