Amazing Hardware @ This Event!!!

My 1st year at the 1000 Islands Poker Run.
It felt like I was in another country!!! Oh yeah....I was.. :rolleyes:
I finally found a place to store 94Mbits :eek: of photos and be able to share all the pics with all of you.

Wow, there are some nice floating bank deposits there. Where exactly did this event happen?

The town of Kingston in Canada right where the Lake Ontario meets the St Lawrence River. The Poker Run ran right on up through the 1000 Islands. It was awesome as you can tell from the pics!

I have spent all of my summers up there since I was two. I don't think there is a nicer spot to boat than the 1000 Islands. ;)

Yes the boats were incredible.
I have been around Offshore Racing for along time and have started doing the Poker Runs about 3 years ago. Going to 1000 Islands was a whole new experience. When I am used to knowing so many people when I go to these events, I ventured to this one and only knew a few... It was like seeing a whole new side of boats and people of our sport.
It was great to see other boats for a change!
Also, I noticed the amount of Checkmates up in that area. I never usually see too many in my neck of the woods. I was certainly the only 28' With twin 2.5 Mercs up there. I only saw inboards....
