My wife and I our planning our 1st trip to Cabo with another couple for next month and we have no idea where to stay. Would like something beach front where I can stumble to the sand. Pool bars are the best too.
Where should we stay? What places would you avoid?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Coughlin

I prefer the Melia San Lucas. There was another thread recently on Cabo San Lucas:

We've always stayed at the El Presidente in San Jose Del Cabo. This is about 15-20 minutes south of the airport and about a 1/2 hour north of Cabo San Lucas proper. It's a quaint little town and the hotel is all inclusive with pool bars, restaurants and definitely it's ocean front property. We taxi into Cabo San Lucas when we want to extend the party.

I've stayed at Pueblo Bonita Rose and it was really nice. Good Margaritas by the pool. :rollside:

If I am staying in Cabo, the Finistera is the only place. Make sure you have dinner at the "Old Trailer Park." Sounds wierd, but it's pretty incredible. In San Jose the "El Presidente" is the place. Get the all inclusive package if you stay there. :)
