He went in for surgery weeks ago... he was afraid he wouldn't come out of the hospital alive... he even made wise cracks about it... I don't think he ever fully came out of the anestesia...... too bad... seems they go in threes... Janet Leigh... Gordo Cooper.... Rodney Dangerfield.... :(

I met him a few years back in BH. I was ready to beat the livin crap out of him for the way he looked at my wife as he walked next to her. (I was MUCH younger in age back then as well as maturity). Anyhow, he turned out to be a great guy and funny as hell in person. Bought us a ton of drinks that night.

Thanks JetBoatRich. That was classic Dangerfield! For some reason I feel the same way as when we lost Sam Kinison. Different circumstances but a loss of something great none the less.

Caddy Shack is the all time greatest, when they showed the clip on the news last night when he goes into the pro shop to set up his asian friend with some garb I started lmao, my wife said, relax man it's just a clip, funniest 5 seconds of my evening last night... R.I.P. Rodney, now you will get the respect that you deserve...

Can you imaging a Rodney and Sam Kinnison concert? I'd come home with a sore face from LMFAO! Someday maybe we all will get to see this big concert in the sky. Thanks for the many laughs!
