When you look in the mirror to see the side of the trailer bulging like HELL  you can bet it won't be long before the trailer is going to break in two.
I was loaded with about $300,000 in brand new fork trucks.I was almost to my stop when the trailer main support broke. It took all day to unload all the trucks onto a flat bed.
After I was empty I chained the mess back together and pulled it 160 miles home at about 70 m.p.h. I wanted to see if my chain job would hold up.... :)

How the hell was that thing loaded? Looks like about 90% of the load in front of the rears and a couple of hard bounces. OUCH

Nice job.. Sounds like a situation that a friend went through. Lots of rig work on the trailer to get it home. Are you going to get it fixed?

A Tech from the trailer company came to look at it today. He thinks that when it was loaded they hit the side of the trailer on the inside. It caused the side to strain. After the bumps and whatever It gave away. :yuk:
Its not my trailer it is company trailer.

That trailer is a Great Dane Therma Cube. Those are the biggest pile of shit trailer on the road. I have fixed several that looked just like that. Very expensive to fix properly and the panels take usually six weeks or more to get. When they were still under warranty, Great Dane fixed them. The problem with them is they have no type of scuffliner on the sides and over the years of abuse, the foam thats inside the panel starts to break down. Then that is what happens to them when they are loaded. It was a horrible design by Great Dane and thats why they don't build a dry freight Therma Cube anymore. If your company has anymore of them in there fleet, my advise is to get rid of them asap, before the rest do it.

We have two in the fleet. The other one already has been fixed because of the same problem. After I really looked the trailer over. Im shocked it lasted this long. JUNK
