View Full Version : OT: Drive Way Rust
Overnight during the rain, the rain poured on on top of a rust part and left a rust stain on our cement drive way.
Anybody know a way to remove the "fresh" rust stain?

CLR... but it's going to etch the concrete and may look worse than the rust stain........ :220v:

Muradic acid you need to use it 1 part acid 10 parts water. Just remember to use gloves and wear old clothes . If you do this, do it to the whole drive way, use a brush or a broom that has stiff brissels. Make sure you wet the drive way before you start and rinse down good after your finished.
btw you can get the acid at a pool supply place. Good luck

It means the water is getting to the steel. Solve that problem first. then clean the concrete. If you don't it will keep coming back.

Your right if it's rebar to close to the surface. But I thought he meant it was a screw driver or something like that left on the driveway.
