I am suprised no one has brought this up. John gets on Crossfire and asks them, plainly, to stop hurting America, to leave the side of the politicians and the corporations and start working for the people.
The two Crossfire hosts canÂ’t believe their ears and team up to go after Stewart, but he manages to come out on top while the hosts are exposed as vapid and amoral actors playing parts.
ItÂ’s an amazing sight. ItÂ’s as if the little man behind the curtain is revealed right before your eyes.
Watch for your self. http://randomfoo.net/?p=2004_10_00_archive.inc#crossfire

The link's not working. Can you post a link that works? I'd love to see the actual video clip.

Didn't see it, but I'll watch the link later today when the boss isn't in the room.
Did you here about Stewart's sister in Australia. She is a strong protestor against the war and was down there helping the liberal party for the elections. I guess the conservitive party won by like a 2:1. Nice landslide.

The Aussies may have let their gov force some really rotten gun laws on them. The people were not given a choice....But they do still have some cajonies down under....

Jon's a very funny and bright guy who understands that our political system is broken. He's also mistaken about his left-leaning position.
But it was great how he took those to flunkies on and roasted them! :hammerhea
