I just heard on the news Mammoth is open. I think they said Heavenly up in Tahoe is opening this weekend also. :rollside:

Wow, I haven't heard them opening this early since the late 70's when my knees would still allow me to ski

Heavenly is currently scheduled to open November 19

It was Boreal they were talking about not Heavenly. They just said they would go dya by day and see how long they stayed open though.

Mammoth opened this morning. The last time they opened this early was ten years ago. Check out the web-cams on the site, it is beautiful up there today. Man I can't wait to get up there.

I was there in April, and it snowed on us. Is there a better mountain than Mammoth? I have seen a lot, but still come back to my favorite.
