Just in case you weren't feeling too old today, this will certainly change things :
The people who are starting college this fall across the nation were
born in 1986. They are too young to remember the space shuttle
blowing up.
Their lifetime has always included AIDS.
Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic.
The CD was introduced the year they were born.
They have always had an answering machine.
They have always had cable.
They cannot fathom not having a remote control.
Jay Leno has always been on the Tonight Show.
Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave.
They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.
They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are!
They don't know who Mork was or where he was from.
They never heard: "Where's the Beef?", "I'd walk a mile for a Camel", or "de plane Boss, de plane".
They do not care who shot J. R. and have no idea who J. R. even is.
McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.
They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

They have never been timed in the 100yd dash.
They never saw the Stanford Indians play in the pac 10 (I remember the pac 8).
They really think the Colts play for indy, the Jazz for Utah, and Cardinals play football for Arizona.....
I wonder if they even remember when a rainbow bumper sticker ment you were a University of Hawaii fan.....

God and I thought I felt old when my son asked me what a record was and I'm only 32 :(
By the way does anyone remember the song "Fly Girl" ? I was at Best Buy
and asked a guy around the age of 19 to 21 if they had it there or if it was on a mixed cd and he had "no clue" what I was talking about. "could you tell me some of the words" he asked & when I did, he did'nt even know what to look up  I felt so-_-_-_-o old. How do not know FLY GIRL ?

Check this out. My girlfriend teaches 1st grade she is 26 yrs old. I'm 28 yrs old and dropped in to give her something while she was teaching. When I left one of the kids raises her hand and says, "Ms. Galier, was that your daddy?" It made me feel reallllllllllllllly old.
