I been hearing alot of good and bad about the new 6.0. If you go to ford truck enthuisits.com you will find alot of info on that issue, check my spelling though. Or you can check the diesel stop.com. I have been holding off from buying one because of all the issues, maybe v-10???????????????

I am a die hard Ford person, but I would never buy a first generation Ford anything. As with all manufactures they seem to rush them out to get them on the streets then figure out all the bugs afterwords.

yeah, thats what i thought i was doing when i bought a 2004, i even went so far as to check the manufacture date (06/04) to make sure it wasnt one of the very first made in late '03... and check the red sticker on the passenger side valve cover and made sure it said 2004 also (apparently the first batch of "2004's" had 2003 motors in them and it says 2003 right on the valve cover)
and i still got screwed (see my other thread for reference)

I have a 2003 6.0 PSD with 5spd. auto with over 25000 miles on it. I haven't had a problem other than a sensor having to be replaced about 2000 miles ago. I have had a problem with starting but only when I forget to let the glow plugs warm up.
