I saw that on a tv show....They went out to do a fly by of the ship and when they throttled back after passing the ship one of the engines exploded both pilots ejected safely and were back on the ship a few minutes later......
Thats what the gov't. would have you believe...Rumor has it that they were flying near Tom Browns airspace.....and you know how grumpy he gets around loud noises...and he is well armed.....Who Knows...

Ever see this one??? (http://www.humorcentral.net/video/military/z_engine.avi) I've seen an interview with that guy, he was OK!!! His helmet and goggles went through the engine, his body got stuck in the tube leading to it!!!

The best part?... The guy was saved because a wrench in his back pocket got snagged on a strut inside and kept him from going into the blades. Good thing he was old enough TO NOT WEAR HIS PANTS SO LOW AND LOOSE that they would have been pulled off.... :D
