"My team" as in what team in the NBA do I root for?
I don't root for any teams in the NBA - I haven't for years. The league is going down the toilet and has passed its peak in terms of fan appeal. Ever since the league gave guaranteed contracts and started talking about one player vs. another (i.e. Kobe vs. LaBron) instead of one team vs. another (i.e. Lakers vs. Celtics), the NBA has been on a slippery slope and going down quickly.
The NFL and NASCAR are what fans are watching these days - and baseball too.
Do you remember when TEAMS won in the NBA? The old Lakers, Celtics and other champions were great to watch and they were what made the NBA great.

I think what is hurting the NBA is that the "classic" teams haven't been competitive. The Celtics, Knicks, Lakers have to be good teams, just like MLB needs the Red Sox and the Yankees.
I still root for the Lakers, but I must say a lot of my support was for Shaq. Now Miami is my #1 team.
