I went to my niece's wedding in Vegas this weekend. And yes, she lives in Beaumont. It WAS a little different than most weddings I've attended. But there were some definite Beaumont tendancies they brought from home.
1) Wedding Cake. Sheet cake bought from the local Safeway.
2) Reception in the Hotel Suite (1 small suite for about 75-80 guests)
3) The brides father came with his new girlfriend, with BOTH of his ex-wives in attendance.
4) The bride brought her daughter (first marraige) then ignored her all night.
5) The bride still doesn't know who the father is. (see #4)
6) The bride wore white (see #4)
7) Food for reception was Oscar Meyer Cold Cuts, Velveeta cheese, and Ritz Crackers.
8)Enough booze for the third Fleet coming home from a cruise, and they STILL had to make 2 beer runs.
9) Between the mother of the bride and her husband, there were a total of 7 teeth.
10)For the Bride: Something old, something new, something borrowed, something black and blue.
(OK, I made up that last one.) :D

Sounds like my mother-in-laws last wedding. It was the beer hiding behind the unity candle that really made the event.

My bad. Would you like to come to a friend of a friends birthday party and stay at my friends brothers house who doesn't know me?
Are you talking about Friday night or Saturday night? Which one are you butt hurt about? Not that I need to explain.
Oh, this just in. Jen's old friend from work is now moving to Wisconsin and we are having dinner at Rama tomorrow night with her and her husband. Should I get a table for 5?
