that is what I use.. they do work pretty good and you can remove them without little holes everywhere in the board. :shift:

If you have gutters then the plastic gutter clips work fantastic.

no gutters...it's on the gable. and I usually lay on the roof and staple the lights under the facia....two stories suck :frown:

:frown: they hook to the gutters.. Maybe they have some that hook to the roof somehow if you don't have gutters.

On the parts of the roof that don't have gutters I will shove the clips around the roof shingles capping the edge. It's worth a try. There is a trick though. Have somebody hold your slack. This works to hold 1 or 2 lights in place but if you have all the weight from your slack pulling on one clip then they will all come down and you will have a bunch or broken bulbs on the ground.

There are clips available that slide under the edge of the shingle along the fascia. They work great. I also used 'em to clip the "net" lights to the vertical side of our shrubs.
I put most of the lights up last weekend, going out in a minute to finish the job.

Put them up Yesterday, the kids were really excited about it last night!
So we go for a drive down the block, when we come up to our house, my youngest son says " Dad, that sure is a beautiful house" !
Made 1/2 a day of work, worth it all.
