An in the future when a new water pump was needed, the idea of 8 turbo's did not seem like such a good one.

Idea: More is more.
Apparently.
I did some research on the car.
Here are the technical specs.
http://www.lateral-g.org/sandlin/Inciner8orSpecs.pdf
One thing that concerns me is that the car has no compressor bypass valves. I would be concerned about compressor surge.
Also, the car is only making 730HP@ 5800 RPM. While that seems like a lot of HP to most people the reality is that if he had actually used less turbos like say 2 instead of 8 he'd be able to probably net something closer to 1,000HP @ 5800RPM and have a broader torque and power curve. He's most likely not even making full boost until around 4500RPM.
Although the idea is incredibly inefficient it does look pretty cool.

I think the car is awsome, the guy had a vision and built it. What ever happen to the days when a Hot Rod was what ever you could come with? Remeber the days when you where a kid and you could'nt wait to see what Barris was going to build next? Now days nobody wants to be differant, every one is building the same thing with 18's or 20's on it and calling it done. I think the guy did an awsome job on the car and ONLY 730hp? It should get him to grocery store with ease.
