Very sad :frown: I lost my 1'st Rott to cancer at 9 years of age, my second to old age at 11, on my third now, a healthy 3 year old female. I can't imagine my life without a Rott in it, they are a fine breed. My condolences...

Sorry for your loss, especially during the holiday season. I had to do the same thing to my 12 1/2 year old French Mastiff in March due to cancer moving to the brain and causing seizures.
It's hard to make the decision but it's best that they don't suffer. They are like kids and need us to make the hard decisions sometimes.
I like to think they are in a better place and we will meet up again someday......H20

My condolences...Hey DogMan you are so right on the rott's,she was our first rottie and i dont care what some people think about this breed of dog, they are so human it is unreal..if you treat this breed with the utmost respect and love them, they will lay their life on the line for you. if you beat this animal then this is the dog you see on tv that is a threat to everyone.
