Just got back from delivering a 23 Shadow deck as a surprise for a customers wife. Now I can't wait for the call to hear how she liked it.

She has no clue at all. Not even one friend of his knows because he didn't want it getting back to her. We even gave the order a fake customer name just to keep anybody at Ultra from knowing and accidentley saying something to the wrong person. Finding the big velvet bow was probably the hardest part of the whole thing.

ok we got up checked the forums and saw this picture looked like our house, same front yard then we both got excited and ran to the window and behold a brand new crack in the concrete :umm: oh well someone's gotta live. nice boat anyway

Hey John you must have delivered that to the wrong house because I was waiting for the very same thing and it was a no show. So this time make sure to make the trek to Michigan and get it right this time!!! LOL. great looking boat John, hope the owner is stoked about it. :)

I was thinking the same thing, maybe they looked at the work orders when they did the title work. :D
At the very least, if I go to buy an Ultra I can always say that I'm a returning customer, so I have that going for me. ;)

I can't wait to see the video. He said it's awesome. I guess they were out in the boat at 5:30 in the morning freezing, just kicking it in their new boat.

And they say there is no such thing as "Customer Service" anymore, way to go John, and to the Customer, you guys planned it just perfect, i know if my wife wanted to she'd do everything to find out what was up.

That's awesome John, I remember you talking about it at the get together, you are the ultimate in customer service. Did you here back from them? How freaking excited was she??? I know if it were me I would have wet myself out of excitement... Great job again John and congrats to the new owners...

I never realized how tall the 23 sat on the trailer until I saw that picture. I've always known I'm not the tallest guy around, but that picture does make me look like an elf.
Making deliveries on xmas eve, your acting like an elf too!!! ;)
