Is it ever going to stop raining?
This shoud be great for the local socal lakes, (Elsinore, Castiac etc), but does anybody know what it looks like for Powell and Meade? I've heard Colorado is getting well over 100% snowfall to date.

Only if you like urban run off  As far as the good lakes I would think all this rain and the snowpack should bring the levels up to a respectable level, but the news always seems to say all this rain will not make up for the long periods of drought  It sucks but it cant be hurting the levels, now on with summer :)

Hell, the urban runoff can only make lake Elsinore cleaner. LOL

Projected run-off from the Rockies is only 91% of average, at this time. Average run-off is what's needed to maintain the lake levels, and provide sufficient water to all contracted users.
Even at 100%, there would still be low levels and drought conditions. We need to be up into the 110-120% range to even begin making a difference.

Also to date, the snow pack is sitting at 38% of season end totals, so it needs to keep up the snowfall.
As far as the snow sheds are concerned the wettest months of the season are ahead of us, March, April, May. Keep you fingers crossed everyone.
